Text Issues

I am not sure if anyone else is having this issue but the login has the input text set to white so when your typing in your username and password you can't see the text, is anyone in admin able to change it so we can see what we are typing please? I'm also experiencing the same issue with titles on new threads etc

I would probably mess with the text colors to see if it fixes the issue. I know there are separate areas where the color can be changed especially the titles can be changed without affecting the white body text.

Curious that this is still happening, what platform are you all looking at the site on. This has been discussed a couple times between Chloe and myself and I'd thought it had been resolved. My Computer shows a pretty clear distinction, white on top of gray.

That said, I only ever look at the site on my desktop.

Update: I have spoken to Chloe about this and she's going to look further into it at some point where she can manage. I'm not entirely sure how drastic the change needs to be as I've been able to manage quite well but it's likely a difference in setups.

I can see it, but, just looking at if from an aesthetics point, the white on gray, is kind of hard on the eyes.

I have white on white for the title and log ins. I use mozilla firefox and just checked windows explorer which shows grey on white but I need to squint to see the text. the send preview buttons are the same. it just gets irritating after a while.

Unable to help anymore, I can't do much other than say, and I repeat, just play with the text colors and see which one changes the text for the log in box. Without able to go into the admin panel, I don't remember off the top of my head how many different settings to change text color there are. To be honest, I'm suspecting its the main body text that would control the log in box text. Or even its the specific skin that they're using that dictates the text for the log in box. Either way, that's all the help I am able to offer.

at the risk of sounding foolish Charon, who are you directing the advice to? those of us having issues or admin? because i have no idea how i would be able to alter the settings

Either Cayden or Blaze. Sorry, I thought it would be understood that I was trying to offer advice to the two of them. I know that regular users can't alter the settings that I spoke of.

Hey guys!!! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience this has all caused. Charon is both right and wrong - normally this would have been a simple colour code problem but it was a mistake that i had made in the coding of the actual css pages, so i had to go through my coding.
but it's all fixed now! (yay)

Also, after an unexpected absence, I am back! Thankyou for being so patient with all of us <3

Heya guys, looks like PMs are the same white/gray combo that the login was, just noticed.

Edit: Also looks like the title/description of posts is the same, oh and the 'reason for editing', and in the cbox input, even if you change the color of text.

Hope I'm not making too much of a work list XD

and the messenger text entry, that is also white

I figured out the color issue for the cbox at least. I can't edit the css, but I can at least point to where it is. I highlighted where the cbox message text is.

yeah, repeating what blade said, the text box entry, it works, but you can't see what your typing till its posted. Spoke with him, its the same issue on chrome and firefox

That's what the problem is, Lucius. It's white text on top of a white message box. That bit I highlighted is the line of code for the message box. It's gonna be the same on every browser because that's the way its coded. Its relatively a simple fix once you view the css and find out where the message box is and where the other message box is for the pm and message boxes when creating a new post/thread. I probably could have had most if not all of this fixed by now or at least made an attempt at it. Alas, I don't have access to the admin panel anymore and is up to either Blaze or Cayden to fix.

Right so, problems on top of problems annoyingly.

The CSS of the Chatbox doesn't appear to be accessible to me I'm afraid. I've looked for it but I'm not finding any of the Div's or ID's anywhere. Might be that Chloe's the only one that can get into it as the Head Admin.

As for the "Reason for Editing", changing this could conflict with the custom CSS template we have for our transparent backgrounds and given that I don't know what's been done to get it that way, I'm not sure I can fix the issue without screwing up something else in the process. All the Background containers I've tried to change have fixed the posting but not this editing feature for god knows why.

I'll keep looking.
