The icy wind howled over the landscape, kicking up bits and pieces of ice and snow. Streamers of loose snow could be seen flowing over land, similar to water, for miles if one had the proper perspective to observe it. The temperature was well below zero, driving most creatures into their dens to escape the biting cold and the fierce winds. It was midday, the sun was at its zenith, though it gave no real warmth due to the heavy clouds obscuring the sky, and thus the light of the sun. A single dark shadow moved over the white landscape, darker than the other shadows around it. The path it was following was more akin to a random wander, than anything with any real purpose to its path.
Thick, white fur, with an incredibly dense undercoat protected him from the icy bite of the wind. Shadows covered the white fur to give it a black appearance, though, in the snowy landscape, this was almost more of a habit from his home than it was a necessity. Thick foot pads gave him additional protection from the biting cold of the frozen ground. Reaching the top of a hill, Blade looked out over landscape, and tilted his head back, letting out a deep, haunting howl and echoed and carried out over the flat landscape, playing over the wind to produce an eerie melody. He then tilted his head, listening to see if anyone responds out here in this icy covered wilderness.
